The total area of the province is 101,741 km². The Population of the province is 35 million with 52% males and 48% females, comprising of 11.9% of Pakistan’s total population. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, often abbreviated as KP or KPK and formerly known as the North-West Frontier Province, is one of the four provinces of Pakistan. It is located in the northwestern region of the country, along the Afghanistan–Pakistan border.
