Nazir Ahmed elected GB Assembly speaker unopposed. Deputy Speaker Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly Nazir Ahmed has been elected unopposed as the Speaker of GB Assembly.
Earlier, the Speaker of Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly, Syed Amjad Ali Zaidi was removed from office through a no-confidence motion.
During secret voting, Syed Amjad Ali Zaidi got only one vote out of 22, while 21 votes were in favor of the motion of no-confidence.
