Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani activist who was shot and almost killed by the Taliban for promoting girls’ right to an education and who, at age 17, became the youngest person to win the Nobel Peace Prize, graduated from Oxford University this weekend. Human rights activist Malala Yousafzai is celebrating the completion of her degree at the University of Oxford. Her graduation comes eight years after Yousafzai survived being shot by the Pakistani Taliban.
